SILENCE was her only response to Flora’s concern, as she endured the stinging pain on the wound. Surely, she did not want the other to be worried over something that was none of her business, but her current condition may have caused the other to grew concern – or the fact she was too stubborn to accept assistance from her. After all, Gabriel had reassured the other that she will be fine. So why was Flora this concerned about her? It was not the first time that she had inflicted a wound like this, anyway.
“– I-I said I’ll be fine, Flora.” Gabriel answered sternly, maintaining the emotionless tone she had. Even though her words expressed reassurance, her pained expressions said another story. As her wound attempted to stitch on their own, the girl seeped in pain and winced, gritting her teeth tightly as she felt the stinging pain despite her regenerative ability. “Just…give me time…”
